Program Offerings
The Lazord Fellowship
The Lazord Fellowship, offered by the Gerhart Center in partnership with the Lazord Foundation, is a one-year program designed for fresh graduates eager to pursue a career in the field of civil society. This fellowship provides participants with invaluable professional experience in socially engaged organizations, helping them build the skills necessary for impactful careers in the nonprofit sector. Fellows benefit from weekly training sessions, mentorship and hands-on opportunities in the field. Additionally, the program features bi-annual exchanges between three-chapter partners, offering fellows the chance to attend conferences and engage with a broader network of civic leaders. This fellowship fosters leadership, collaboration and social responsibility, equipping graduates to drive meaningful change in their communities.
Alumni and Volunteering Activities
Our Alumni and Volunteering Activities provide alumni with the opportunity to give back to their communities by engaging in meaningful, impactful activities through the Civic Engagement Program. With a network of over 1,000 alumni, the program aims to bring alumni together, fostering a sense of unity and collaboration. The activities focus on raising awareness about the distinction between philanthropy and charity, while promoting the values of social responsibility and civic engagement among youth. By participating in these activities, alumni contribute to positive change, inspire future generations, and strengthen the collective impact of the alumni community.
