Inbound International Study Tours

AUC’s School of Business hosts student tours from top internationally recognized universities such as Columbia UniversityGeorge Washington University, the University of Toronto and the University of Virginia. The objective of these tours is to provide students with international exposure in terms of academic content and interaction with diverse peers and faculty members.

In March 2010, AUC’s School of Business received a delegation from the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia. The visit included 25 of the top students at the Darden School of Business as well as three of its faculty members.

In January 2011, MBA students from Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, visited the School of Business. The visit aimed to offer Rotman School of Management students a better perspective of the MBA education in Egypt and to showcase the resources available in the region. 

In January 2011, a group of 20 MBA students from Columbia Business School visited AUC. The visit included a campus tour followed by a lecture given by Professor Mohamed Radwan about “Challenges to Business and Marketing in the Region.” After the campus visit, students visited the Egyptian Stock Exchange and attended lectures about its history, how it operates, economic growth and development, the banking system and stock exchange markets in Egypt. 

In March 2012, a group of 18 MBA students and faculty members from George Washington University (GW) visited the School of Business. The visit was part of their course Egypt: Corporate Responsibility and Social Entrepreneurship, in which seven AUC MBA students attended GW online lectures and participated in group projects. The GW team visited Egypt, where they met with international companies and spent one full day at AUC. They had a tour of the campus followed by several lectures given by high caliber speakers. They also attended the fifth MBA debate.
