Exclusive and Temporary AmCham Membership to all AUC Enrolled Graduate Students!

The American University in Cairo has launched a new program that offers an exclusive opportunity for all enrolled graduate students to join the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (AmCham Egypt) as an “AUC PostGraduate Temporary AmCham Member.”

This membership provides graduate students with direct access to AmCham Egypt’s knowledge-sharing platforms, economic and business discussion forums, updates on market developments, as well as the chance to experience the wide array of activities and services enjoyed by Members.

Criteria for participation in the program

Membership will be available only to a limited number of enrolled AUC graduate students on a first-come, first-serve basis. Also, membership will only be valid for the duration of the graduate student studies at AUC and with a limit of two years as a maximum. Following that, graduate students may opt to join as Members under one of the existing Membership Categories.

Lastly, applicants must note that membership at AmCham Egypt is a Corporate Membership, meaning that applications are subject to a rigorous vetting process that requires the approval of the AmCham Board of Governors. 

Given the longstanding relationship between AmCham Egypt and AUC, existing graduate students applying under the University Membership umbrella will be accepted as temporary associate members at a reduced rate of $150 per year.
