Razan Al Mubarak, UN Climate Change High-Level Champion of the United Arab Emirates for COP28, outlines why universities and colleges are so important to the Race to Zero, speaking of AUC's commitment to the cause.
The AUC Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI), in collaboration with the American Center and the US Embassy in Egypt, ran the week-long program Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) from November 13-19, 2023, which aimed to provide support across the global entrepreneurial ecosystem. GEW 2023 supported young entrepreneurs and professionals planning to shift their careers by providing them with workshops, panel discussions, webinars, competitions and group mentoring sessions to help boost their entrepreneurial skills. The program was designed to incorporate a thematic focus for each day, including women and youth empowerment, Micro-, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs), investment readiness and sustainability.
