AUC's School of Business Receives Reaffirmation of its 5 Palmes of Excellence at the Eduniversal 11th World Convention

October 18, 2018

AUC's School of Business has been granted the full ranking (five out of five palmes) from Eduniversal, yes again. Accordingly, the School of Business is listed as one of the 100 best business schools with major international influence and has been ranked second in Africa. AUC School of Business received reaffirmation of its 5 Palmes of Excellence at the Eduniversal 11th world convention which took place in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The School of Business has been affirmed since the 2012-2013 year. AUC was also ranked first in Africa in the Eduniversal annual ranking of business schools and universities, placing it yet again among the top 100 best business schools with major international influence.

The Eduniversal system rates schools according to the international reputation of a school at national and global levels, and by geographical zone. After the 1000 best business schools in 154 countries have been selected, they are divided within each country into five levels of excellence which Eduniversal titles the Palme of Excellence. There are five leagues of Palmes of Excellence.

Ahmed Abdel Meguid, associate dean of undergraduate studies and administration at AUC's School of Business and associate professor of accounting, received the award in honor of the school.
It's worth mentioning that the School sits proudly at the top of the continental ranking with four of its graduate programs ranking number one in the 2018 Eduniversal Best Master Ranking for Africa. The MBA Program (as well as its Elective in Operations Management), the Executive MBA, Masters of Arts in Economics and Masters of Science in Finance have all topped the Africa charts, reinforcing the quality of the school contemporary curriculums, vibrant learning environment and hands-on approach to business education.

The purpose of Eduniversal’s rankings is to expose to prospective students to a reference that mirrors each school’s international dimension. This enables them to make the right decision in choosing the institution that fits them.
