About Youssef Nabih Department of Accounting 

The department provides a world-class accounting education to serve the needs of the business community and the accounting profession and aims to be recognized as an innovative leader in accounting education and research, with particular relevance to the Middle East and North Africa region.

The major in accounting was introduced at AUC School of Business in 1996 and later on became the Youssef Nabih Department of Accounting in 2009. The department, as it now stands, offers students the opportunity to both major and minor in accounting. Students choosing to major in accounting are required to complete 127 credit hours of course work, while students minoring in accounting are required to complete 15 credit hours.
