Onsi Sawiris Study Abroad Scholarships

Onsi Sawiris Study Abroad Scholarships provide full funding for Egyptian students who wish to experience a year abroad at the University of Chicago or the University of Pennsylvania. Scholars will receive a full scholarship: Covering tuition, airfare, housing, health insurance and a living stipend.

Doing Business in the Middle East (DBiME)

Doing Business in the Middle East (DBiME) is a comprehensive weeklong program that exposes participants to both corporate and academic perspectives of current issues in the region. It is offered to graduate students from business schools across the world who seek firsthand experience in this growing, diversified and promising region. DBiME is useful to students enrolled in the following master's programs: MBA, EMBA, finance and economics.

AUC Business Forum

The AUC Business Forum, organized annually by the Onsi Sawiris School of Business and powered by the Willard W. Brown Endowment since 2020, brings together renowned scholars, industry leaders and policymakers to discuss the evolving role of business schools in society. The forum focuses on the transformations needed in business and management education to ensure relevance, innovation and societal impact.

Willard W. Brown International Business Leadership Series

A platform for renowned international business thought leaders to share a wealth of technical knowledge, business acumen, market and/or scholarly expertise with the AUC community and the local business community at large.

The International Case Competition

This is the first competition of its kind organized in Egypt and focusing on business challenges facing high-growth entrepreneurial ventures. The competition provides students with a unique learning experience to understand the business and entrepreneurship landscape in Egypt, Africa and the Middle East, including complex issues around consumer behavior, economic trends, regulatory and policy reforms, technology adoption and the supporting ecosystem.

The International Case Development Competition

The International Case Development Competition (ICDC) 2024, organized by the school's El-Khazindar Business Research and Case Center (KCC) and Ivey Publishing, aims to offer students an opportunity to showcase their ability to apply business and management knowledge by crafting compelling case studies focused on contemporary issues in the MEA region.

EFMD Silver Award in Professional Development

The Certificate of Trade Finance in Africa (COTFIA), a collaborative effort between African Export Import Bank - Afreximbank, FCI and the Onsi Sawiris School of Business, has been awarded the Silver Award in the Professional Development category at the prestigious 2025 EFMD Excellence in Practice Awards.
