Women Economic Empowerment Program – Entrepreneurship support
About the Program
AUC Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation aims to support women entrepreneurs to help reduce the gender gap in the Egyptian entrepreneurship ecosystem under the framework of the UN Women Egypt - UNIDO Egypt Joint Program “Women Economic Empowerment for Inclusive and Sustainable Growth” implemented in partnership with the National Council for Women (NCW) and the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MOTI) and generously supported by Global Affairs Canada (GAC) Embassy of Canada to Egypt.
The project, delivered in Arabic, includes training to enhance the skills of 1600 entrepreneur women or women with entrepreneurial ideas and spans two years. The training’s focus will be on entrepreneurship-related subjects such as market study, corporate management, and financial modeling, as well as soft skills and empowerment support.
After completing the training, women entrepreneurs will be supported to develop, maintain and expand their projects through access to business incubation.
