The Case Centre
El Khazindar Business Research and Case Center (KCC) collection of business cases published by The Case Centre covers a number of different sectors in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. By presenting the audience with a wide view of strategic, managerial, and ethical cases, this collection aims to set the business scene for all entrepreneurs and established business owners, building a foundation upon which the region’s future may be built. The cases presented tackle different business areas including marketing, strategy, management, finance, and many others.
In May 2011, El-Khazindar Business Research and Case Center (KCC) published its first academic publication; a casebook titled “Cases on Business in the MENA Region: New Trends and Opportunities.” This casebook is co-published by KCC and its partner IGI Global, a leading US international publishing company. This book includes 17 case studies on businesses in the MENA region that cover different business areas including accounting, finance, management, management information systems, marketing, and operations management.
In 2011, to foster entrepreneurship and innovation, Aramex, Wamda and El-Khazindar Business Research and Case Center (KCC) announced their collaboration in producing a series of twelve case studies about inspiring start-ups from the MENA region. The series features cases from Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, the United Arab Emirates, and Lebanon, narrating the entrepreneurs’ highs and lows, the evolution in establishing their business, as well as their upcoming plans for expansion. The cases will be disseminated online and entirely open access, making them accessible to all. The cases are downloadable on the Wamda platform and KCC's website.
