About Youssef Nabih Department of Accounting
The Youssef Nabih Department of Accounting delivers a world-class accounting education that responds to the evolving needs of the business community and the profession. With a strong focus on innovation and relevance, the department aspires to be a regional leader in accounting education and research, particularly within the Middle East and North Africa.
Accounting was first introduced as a major at Onsi Sawiris School of Business in 1996 and evolved into a full department in 2009. Today, the department offers both a major and a minor in accounting. Students pursuing the major complete 127 credit hours, while those opting for the minor complete 15 credit hours—equipping graduates with the technical expertise and analytical skills to thrive in a competitive global environment.
